Storm began to laugh, and once she started, she just couldn't stop! When she finally caught her breath, she looked at Tir, eyes sparkling, and said "Wow, you are actually good at that! Any other fox who I've tried to teach has always hurt the butterflys - that makes me said. Butterflys are so beautiful, don't you think?" She watched the butterfly's circle around their heads, dancing, a whirlwind of bright colours. The air was nice and clear, and Storm was really starting to like this place. But of course, as wanderer's, they would move on. Storm had been thinking that maybe they could head to the forest, next! She'd never been to a real forest, and the idea made her feel excited!
"Would you like to head o the forest? It seems a nice place to continue," asked Tir, unaware that he was "reading Storm's mind". He looked at the butterfly's markings but was unable to determine the species.
Storm was a little shocked, when Tir suggested going to the forest, but quickly recovered. Wow, She thought. I've never met a fox who was so like me... She knew that it may be a long trek to the forest, so she started to think of questions she could ask. What do you like to do for fun? Do you know your parents? What are they like? Any siblings? What kind of lands do you prefer? Have you ever travelled with other foxes? Oddly, and entirely different question popped out of her mouth: "Tir, have you ever loved another fox?" Realizing what she had asked, Storm ducked her head in embarasment. To hide her stumble, Storm dragged her paws over to the river, tail low, and took a drink. A long drink. A very long drink! Noticing she had no other choice, Storm turned around, sat down, and looked right into Tir's eyes. "I have. A long time ago, I mean. When I first became a wanderer. I was just wondering if that was... normal? I'm not sure..." Realizing that she wasn't making much sense, Storm decided to just shut her mouth and wait for an answer...

At this point, Legato stalked from the bushes. "Sorry to interupt," he said coldly. "I seem to be intruding. However, I must ask why you are on my land, for I am Legato, leader of the great Tribe Riverspirit. State your purpose, or leave. Or do both. Both would be good- unless you intend to join? In that case I would discuss with you and then take you to the dens. This Tribe is one of the largest in the area. It would be wise to either join, or get out." OOC// Sorry, he's a bit of a mean foxey... Hope this is okay? If not I'll delete.

The smile on Storm's face disappeared almost instantly.
We are just passing through. We mean your Tribe no harm, and if your Tribe is as large as you claim, you should not be threatened by us. If you were wise, you'd leave us alone.
Storm tried to hint that she wanted this "Legato" fox to go away - he seemed rather mean. But nothing Storm couldn't handle. She turned her back to him and nodded at Tir.

"All right," said Legato smoothly. "You have made a wise decision. But," he said, his voice softening as he continued to gaze at the femme, "If you wish to stay here a little longer, I would permit it. I was merely scared that you were here to take over my land. You see," he continued, "I only recently re-claimed this territory, and changed the Tribe name from Grace Flueve to Riverspirit." A hint of pride entered his voice as he added, "But the Tribe's old members are all still here. A lookout and four members plus me is six strong, a good amount with which to drive out intruders." Immediately aware that her had said the wrong thing, he quickly added, 'but I'm sure that won't be necessary with such courteous guests." He looked at both foxes now. "Would you like to rest up a bit in our dens before continuing your journey? The hollow is nearby."

//OOC: Sure, perfectly fine// IC// "The camp is in a small hollow, not far from here." Legato knew his territory well. "We have dens there made out of fallen logs and the like. Come, I will show you." He trotted through the undergrowth until he reached the hollow- a large, slightly sunken clearing in the middle of the forest with a glimpse of the river through the trees. It was the perfect camp. Legato took a great huff of the air, greeted a few nearby Tribe-members, and proceeded to go to his den- a large, hollow log protected on one side with brambles and on the other (the entrance) with hanging moss. Nudging his way inside, Legato turned to the fae and told her she could make herself comfortable, while he got them some prey from the Tribe's prey hold. Selecting a large trout and a hare, her quickly returned to the den. Giving the vix the trout, he told her with a smile that it was a river specialty, and he himself took the hare.
