Lavender, Borage, Juniper, thyme leaf... « Thread Started on May 31, 2008, 6:58pm »
Trotting happily through the Pandoran Crater, Dawn reflected with great, overwhelming joy on her acceptance into the Tribe here- Silva Nemor. She was a healer now, and out looking for herbs that could be used as healing aids. Pausing at a bush of juniper berries, she gathered up some of the reddish berries, which were good for a sore stomach, and wrapped them in a leaf. Picking up the bundle, she continued on her way. Soon, she spotted some twinkling purple flowers and recognized the sweet scent of lavender, which a Tribe fox named Mina had used to save Dawn's life when she was suffering from heatstroke. Mina' s quick action was what had given Dawn the chance to be here today. After digging up the flowers, she wrapped them up as she had the juniper berries and continued on her way. By sun-high, she had thyme leaves, borage, and a flower-full of poppy seeds along with the lavender and juniper. satisfied, she wrapped all the little packets into one great big package, using several leaves plastered together with sweet sap from a nearby tree. Happy with her work, she dug a small hole in the ground and lightly buried her herbs and berries until she returned to camp. Stretching her back in a wide arch, she stood up to go hunting. Because it had recently rained, there were puddles of water with small silver fish in them everywhere, so she could take her pick. She chose a large pool near where she had buried her supplies, and fished out three of the glittering silver prey-forms. After drinking her fill, she returned to the bush under which she had buried her supplies and began to eat. Soon the fish were gone, and she was about to get up and leave when she scented something strange. Spinning around to challenge it, she realized it was another fox!
