. Beautiful .
The pale tan hued vixen padded onto the cool atmosphere of the lake ahead. The soft snow glistened from the moon's light and it reflected in her golden eyes. She took in an icy breath and released it, leaving her being to bath in the wonder of the frozen lake. It all seemed so ethereal and in her opinion a great beginning to her new life. She tried not to look back, although the memories were so raw, so deep. She decided to leave it behind, for the 'future is bright'. Godelieve laughed at her cliche thoughts before she leapt into a fresh batch of snow and rolled around onto her back to gaze up at the stars. 'What could make tonight better?'

Skerron's pads sunk into the snow, and the crunching noise was the only thing to break the silence. He stepped into the fairyland which surrounded the lake, and the cloudless sky was reflected perfectly in the water, so that there was almost no horizon. It was just a pure expanse of the deepest abyssal blue. Skerron almost felt as if he was dreaming; it was so unreal. Suddenly his nose twitched-- a sweet perfume danced about his nostrils. It was the scent of a vixen, and quite an attractive one at that. Skerron's interest was piqued. He slowed down his movements, and peered around a patch of frozen grass. There in the snow, rolling around and amusing herself, was one of the most exquisite females he had ever laid his emerald eyes upon. Her fur was a lovely shade of pale amber, and her eyes matched, shimmering like gold flakes in a stream. Skerron stiffened his spine; it would do no good to skulk about. He stepped out from behind the grass, brushing it gently. He hoped that the noise of the crackling blades would alert the vixen to his presence.
